So, we came up with a unique therapeutic virtual reality (VR)learning App. for handicapped children.
We started with the idea that if virtual reality can put players inside a game, then why not use this cutting-edge technology to give children with intellectual disabilities satisfying, fun learning experiences?
We created an environment that simulated the sea with boats, enabling children to engage in a learning activity relatively free from the limitations imposed by their disability, identifying color and shape. This was achieved in a completely safe environment while the child’s performance is monitored and measured by teachers and caretakers helping each child achieve relative success.
VR can help learners with disabilities expand their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in ways that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. See for yourself!
